First Visit to Moonshine

Today Sam and I crawled out of bed at 9:30...man was that nice.  Unfortunately we were supposed to go down to West Union and meet JM and then meet my parents at Moonshine if JM's guys weren't going to be in the field.  So at 9:30 I called JM and everything was "a go" so I called Mom and Dad and they said they would be there around 11:00 or so.  Well, I wasn't really thinking about the time b/c it takes a good 45min to an hour to get down to West Union and then we would have to go over to Moonshine, which really wasn't that far.  Luckily the diaper bag was packed, so all I had to do was get Sam and myself ready.  We were on the road by a little after 10 - we made good time if you ask me!

Luckily I thought to call JM right after I left the house and I found out that he wasn't going to be able to come after all.  Since I hadn't turned to go to Marshall yet, I didn't have to backtrack any.  I hadn't really researched how to get to Moonshine b/c I was counting on riding with JM.  I knew where to turn off of Route 49 and I knew there were little bitty signs but who knows if I would see them!  Dad got me going in the right direction and then I caught the sign and made it there before them! =)  Just barely though!

Mom, Dad, Sam, and I ate inside b/c it was pretty windy out. The hamburgers were EXCELLENT and Sam ate too!

We had to get a picture with the sign to prove we were there!
This was at the end of our lunch trip and Sam was fighting sleep.  Her eyes are still open (a little bit).

Sam slept on the ride home (after Grandma changed her dirty diaper - yea Grandma!) but once we got home she was wide awake.  And she stayed wide awake from 1 to about 4.  YIKES!  Most of that time she was happy but not all of it.  She was fighting sleep like a champ.

My good friend Deb Schaljo came over and visited us for a little bit. The school had a half -day to start Easter break.  It was nice to have some more adult human interaction.  So nice! After that is when Samee finally decided to go to sleep. She was up once since them and now at 8 she's starting to wake up.  I hope this doesn't mess up our night time schedule!!
