This weekend was fantastic. Saturday we slept in and did absolutely nothing (a little cleaning, I guess) until supper time. JM spent part of the day trying to listen to Samantha inside my stomach. He said he could hear her swich around once or twice. Pretty cool! I definitely can't get MY head down there! We met Grandma & Grandpa Keach for supper at the QQ Buffet in Charleston. Mom and Marisa rode up with them too. We were celebrating Grandma's birthday and it was great to catch up with them because we really haven't been home in a while.
Of course we couldn't drive by Wal-Mart without stopping in to say "Hi". JM bought himself a new PS3 game which meant that I have watched quite a bit of FIFA soccer, which is fine because it's excellent to take a nap too. I was going to get a duffel bag to take to the hospital with us but JM made the valid point that we have several suitcases. Then I tried on robes to take to the hospital but all that was there were really warm/heavy ones. Once again the voice of reason (JM) mentioned that I would proably be pretty warm and I wouldn't want something that heavy. Once again, agreed.
That night when we got home neither of us was too tired because we didn't get up too early. I watched him play soccer while the baby imitated what was on the screen.
Some people have asked if I can tell the difference between a foot and a hand yet. Up until last night, I never thought I would be able to. She kept pushing up just a little under my left rib and I, by habit, had my hand over that spot. When she kept doing it repeatedly I pushed down to see if I could feel it better. I didn't have to push in to far and I got the best suprise! It was a little hand and it rubbed against the palm of my hand 3 times before it stopped! I guess it possibly could have been toes but it really felt like a fist! Of course I was a little giddy and smiley for a little bit. JM thought it was pretty cool too. Then a few minutes later she tried to stop her foot through my cervix, which is not cool. It doesn't really hurt, but it doesn't feel great either.
Sunday was spent being bums too. FANTASTIC. Though by the end of the day I am getting kind of bored. I have cleaned out a closet and a little bit of the spare bedroom. My goal for this weekend was to take it easy, keep my feet up, and just relax. I've done a pretty good job if I do think so myself. =)
Countdown: 5 weeks at the most. That is 35 days. YIKES
