New Year's Weekend

This year our New Year's was pretty uneventful, which is actually pretty nice.  We headed down to my parents' house for the weekend so that JM could hunt and we could actually spend some time with them.  We headed down Wednesday night because Mom had a break in her college classes and would be able to spend more time with Samantha.  We really didn't get to spend much time with them over Christmas so this was really nice.

On New Year's Eve we headed up to Ste. Marie to the HideOut.  They have a pretty big buffet and on it they have all of their main meats and sides.  We made reservations pretty early and happened to have the first of the evening so the food was great! We also were there when Nano and Papo and their card playing group came too.  It was good to see them and "show off" to the fellow card players. =)  We were home pretty early and went to bed pretty early.  However, Samantha and I did see the New Year in.  She slept HORRIBLE that night (and the night before).  Oh well, I was able to "bring in the new year" with my favorite girl!
