Week 32

Let week 32 begin - oh my - the means there is only 8 weeks left. For some reason when I say "8 weeks left" my heart kind of flutters but when I say "2 months left" it doesn't seem as bad/soon. Anyways....

Things are going great with the baby. She is moving like crazy these days. I think she has finally found the other lower corner of her home. She had never moved on my bottom right-hand side, but this weekend she discovered uncharted territory. It was pretty weird when it happened. My entire stomach region shifted to the left (which isn't really that abnormal) but as soon as she stretched that way it was like she bounched off of the left side and then bounced off the right side. The view from my angle was pretty alien-ish. I can feel the difference between hands/feet and then actual body movements. There is definitely a difference between jabs and body rolls or whatever it is she is doing.

Sleeping still is not as easy as I want it to be, but in all reality if sleeping is my only problem I count myself pretty lucky. There could be a lot more problems. I usually toss and turn for awhile and then fall asleep. Wake up a few times during the night to roll over and maybe one potty break. Not too bad really. I have to get up an hour earlier though because my students are practicing for the District Parliamentary Procdure CDE (contest). I can't wait until Districts (Feb 3rd) so that I can sleep until 7!

My body: I found my first stretch mark(s). I had had some purple blemishes on my thighs but didn't think much of them. They weren't raised or makign "divets". Well, that changed. A few of them have turned into stretch marks but not big or long. I'm not too worried about it - at all. I am really surprised that I haven't found any on my stomach or gigantic udders. Yes I called them udders and yes I have 2 of them. Speaking of anatomy - I can no longer see certain parts of my anatomy. I discovered this fun fact when I was attempting to shave my legs last night.

The dining room is almost done - a few more rows of flooring and it will be finished! Yea! Then I can move to cleaning the house and getting it baby-ready. Things are a mess now because things from the dining room are in the living room and the spare bedroom is getting cleaned out to make room for a bed and basically a transformation from a Holding Center to a Spare Bedroom.

I don't think there really any other news.  Just busy with school and things around the house.
