Valentine's Day Weekend

I have a lot of catching up to do with my blog, so I am doing my best to go back and hit the highlights.  On the 12th, Saturday, JM and I decided to finally go back over to Terre Haute and committ to purchase a Ford Flex.  Mace Ford had 3 on the lot and we had looked at all 3 of them since Christmas.  We were antsy to "pull the gun" on buying one.  I had really wanted one with captain's chairs for the 2nd row of seating, but they have been impossible to find.  We had already talked with Terre Haute about what they had on the lot and had even test drove them, so we really wanted to purchase one from there if we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for.
We took Samantha with us and she said "ma-ma-ma-ma" all the way over. hahaha.  JM would go "da-da-da" at her and she would answer with her normal "ma-ma-ma" and then they woudl get to going together.  At one point we became stuck at a railroad crossing.  Samantha started in with the "ma-ma-ma" and I just kind of looked at JM out of the corner of my eye and he looked at me and says, "She's not saying mama congnitively"... LOL..  He's right, but I would never say that outloud.  It's so funny that she does that because almost everyone we talk to testify that their kids always did the "da-da-da" first.
When we started looking at the Flex's we decided to purchase one of the two black ones on the lot.  The silver one had more miles, I think? I don't know.  Anways, the difference between the 2 black ones was mileage and one of them was a higher edition.  The higher edition was really nice.  It had chrome accents on the outside and the inside has leather seats which are heated, inboard touch screen, and tons of stuff that will take me a year to learn.  It wasn't that much more expensive then the other black one and if you're going to spend that much money, why not get what you want?? =)

We didn't make the choice or complete the paperwork before noon, so our bank was closed and so was theirs.  We filled out all the papework and were told to come back on Monday - Valentine's Day.
So my Valentine's Day present was the Flex!  JM said that we have to name it Rose, so he can say that he bought me a rose for V-Day.

Samantha loves the new ride.  We also have turned her forward, just a few weeks shy of her 1st birthday.  She meets the weight requirement, so we figured why not.  She a lot of times watches the inboard screen because of all the lights and she LOVES to look out the front!  She is a MUCH happier baby to ride with now.
