Successful Sleeping

Not to jinx anything but....

Last night Samantha fell asleep in her swing. I picked her up, laid her in her bed with her blanket and her bear that makes white noise and walked away to a sleeping baby.  Then during the night, she woke up twice fussed for a few minutes and then fell back asleep.  I just kind of waited around and knew that if she started her screaming I would go in but fortunately I didn't have to.  This morning I had to wake her up at 6:30 so I could ger her ready for Joy.  (Joy picks her up at 7 - We love Joy.)  When I picked her up today, I was ecstatic to find out that she had a great day.  No screaming and she had 2 two-hour naps.  Holy Cow! Joy said she got a little fussy and she put her in the pack 'n' play and she was asleep in minutes. She also drank 8 ounces of milk and about 3 ounces of apple juice and water.  That is about double her normal liquid intake.  Hopefully this helps her little digestive system.
Tonight I decided to let her eat some cereal since she had taken in more liquid.  She didn't mind the first few bites but really didn't care for it.  However, she did eat when I dipped the little spoonfull in her sweet potatoes.  Tricky Mommy.  She LOVES sweet potatoes.  I mean LOVES them.  I have tried the apples & prunes the last few days.  She thinks that is pretty good too, but not good enough to mask the taste of cereal. =).  JM gave her a bath around 6:30 and then I put her lotion on and got her pj's on.  She nursed a little bit but didn't seem to happy and was kind of fussy about it so I strapped her into her swing.  She hung out in it for awhile and then became very droopy eyed.  So I grabbed her bear and blanket, put her in bed, gave her kiss and said good night.  She fussed twice for less than 30 seconds and was out. So this is what it's supposed to be like???  This is nice.  I hope tonight goes like last night!
