On Tuesday this week, Jim and I went in for our 16 week appointment. This time we met with Dr. Benson, who seems like he has a good sense of humor (which is a must for us). It was a pretty simple appointment where we listened to the heartbeat, gave some more blood for testing, and then went home. Peanut's hearbeat was 150 beats per minute and the range is supposed to be from 120 to 160, so everything's going great.
This week I've been wearing more and more maternity clothes. Other's are just getting too tight around the abdomen area - go figure =) . The only problem is my hand-me-down maternity clothes are more for summer than winter. I see a shopping trip in my near future.

- Jim and I were married on September 1st 2007. We have moved 2 times since then and are finally settled in Redmon, Illinois. I am the Ag teacher at Kansas High School and Jim is the manager of CropMax in West Union. We are the proud parents of Samantha (Samee) Jo Jenness. She was born on March 17th at 5:26 a.m. and weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Samee was welcomed home by our 2 golden retrievers and 2 cats. Everyone is doing really well adjusting to having a newborn in the house. For those that may not know us very closely, we find humor in everything. There really is never a dull moment.
